I didn't say I viewed these moves as wise. I have long said MS's moves were short sighted. And they won't put out exclusives for it but I wouldn't be surprised if they emphasize that it's the best way to play x, y, and z.
But all this is why I view the Xbox's position very vulnerable at the moment. The symbolic loss of Scalebound and lack of traction gained by many of their esclusives, their constant fire sales devaluing the Xbox brand and training consumers to wait for the next sale or price drop, their inability to compete with Sony for the primary console position. At the moment I don't see Xbox coming close to taking back the primary console position and they are making a very weak argument as a secondary or suplementary one. If anyone is going to potentially feel a hard sting from the Switch, it's Xbox.
