Will NES Mini outsell Wii U?

Yes 15 14.42%

No 79 75.96%

Dunno/don't care 9 8.65%

It'll outsell (see my comment)... 1 0.96%

Total:104

So, what will it be?

I'm saying it does, but ends up pretty close. The number and quality of the games on it for it's price makes it a pretty much of a no-brainer to buy. Wii U production ended in around 14 million. The real question is, if Switch tap the NES Mini audience and goes to direct competition with it, which may eat away some of NES Mini's sales.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

No

If they want to keep producing it for years to come I'm pretty sure it could. It would eventually get a price cut and fly off the shelves (if they were willing to actually keep it in stock).

It's gonna need a few years though.

Easily.

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

I doubt it. Most people that into Nintendo's history already got one.

Where do you get your figures to make this claim?  The system is still not available on store shelves.  Your personal opinion seems to be the only proof you have...and that's just your opinion, man.

Of course it is only my opinion. Every other answer in this thread is also only an opinion... unless we have a time traveller here.

It won't. They sold 1.5M, are out of stock, never produced enough in the first place and are now focused on the Switch.

I don't see how they could sell 9 times more than what they already sold like this. The audience isn't there, and the consoles either.

A plug and play system isn't gonna outsell a dedicated console, even if the Wii U was pure failure.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
