So anyone wonder how ppl're gon use this mobile phone voice chat while still keeping both hands on the controller? Or when you decide to leave the app open and you suddenly get a phone call or any notifiication that interrupts the program? Just food for thought
LOL at some of the defenses. Its just Ninty not wanting to "copy" the competition and doing something worse just for the sake of being different. If you cant do better than what is already on the market and what has been working for YEARS. Then you dont need to "challenge" anything. When it comes to online Ninty is the worse they shouldnt be trying to challenge anything, they need to master the basics first (coughfriendcodescough)

Of Course that Nintendo can do that in 2017. (you said your self Xbox had that 15 years ago), but Nintendo is taking different approach, it seems they want to take use of smartphones that everyone had and to connect them more with their hardware. I don't say that's good thing, but again we have here classic Nintendo where they managing things different than competition. |
you dont say its a good thing, cause its not. Why take a different approach when its worse?

The thing is though, the rest of the industry already has a proven system that works well, whereas Nintendo's approach (if another device is necessary) adds problems and complications. They would've been better off just using what works.

If I knew the answer to that, I wouldn't be talking to you, I'd be selling the idea. It's not my job to know how to make a product work, but I can be open minded, and there's reason to be, as made obvious in that post. What are those clear downsides, by the way? Enlighten me. |
The clear downside is needing an app and an ancillary device to do everything that the Vita could do in 2011. I used to be able to howl at the moon without doing a voodoo dance around a burning barrel. No matter the platform. Now, with the Switch, there's a cememony involved. No.......NO! C'mon man. You see this.
