Meh. Tales of Xenoblade looks like a waste of Takahashi's time so far. But from the trailer, it's lacking everything that fans of the  Xeno games have come to know and love over the past 20 years. The current game looks generic and uninteresting.

I really hope it's not the case, and this will have what we're looking for.

Yeah, maybe it's just a bad trailer, but so far it looks very generic and bland, and entirely lacking the wow factor that defined the first two Xenoblade games.

I disagree. I'm a massive Xeno fan and I disgaree and this is from someone who hates Tales games

Even though I haven't beaten both XC and XCX, it was still a fun watch. I really need to go back and beat those 2 games, especially if XB2 is truly coming out this year. The analysis video def got me more hyped for the game.

This trailer was just a small announcement of the game. Obviously, they didn't went all out. You know Monolith and I do, too. They will provide a trailer in the near future where they show off the huge beautiful landscapes.

I hope so. Make one like those freaking amazing XCX trailers back in the day, now those had me instantly sold.

As someone who has been a fan of Tetsuya Takahashi's Xeno games for almost 20 years now, tell me what I should be excited about or interested in from this trailer?

The only thing I have to go by is the faith in the credits as they only offer promise based on reputation. But even with those, missing Kunihiko Tanaka is a disappointment.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Judging from the characters armor, it seems Mechon and Humans have merge technology or maybe the boy is a Mechon with human features. Interesting. Also seems like the environment is moving so guessing the game is based on another huge Robot type landscape similar to the 1st game.

I had the same theory but I put it out of mind because it's, well... weird.  Also pretty sure ether didn't fade away in the last game and that looks like ether in the suits and in those lamps; also I'm still sticking with my theory they are descendants of high Entia or maybe Mechina

Yeah, I mean when have they ever went all out with a Xenoblade announcement?...
