The release of Monster Hunter Portable 2 G has propelled PSP sales in Japan to nearly 140,000 units this week - more than Wii + DS + PS3 + Xbox360 + PS2 combined!!

Amazing, I thought PSP was almost dead. Has a system ever seen a second lease of life like this before?

PSP has been outselling almost all consoles in Japan on a very consistent basis, no idea why you thought PSP is 'almost dead'

And people dont get it why Im so upset when the PS failure threads are apearing . The PSP is far from dead , even more , it could see a new begining soon . If Sony will get the exclusives it needs , than I dont see why this couldent happen :)

TC,the PSP may not have DS like numbers,but it´s very,very far from being dead...it seems to be a common misconception to think the PSP is "dead".
