For those adamant about getting Japanese VA in their game, look into emulation.

Hell, I may look into it. Looks neat.

This pétition is Bad and only talk about Japanese, but what about people who Want to play in English but with german/french/Italian/spain sub ?

I still plan to take a language course for japanese, maybe sometime this year.

It just sounds so incredibly strange to me for the cartridge to have Japanese voices in it but not the option to enable them. It's very hard for me to believe even though he's outright stating it, still a bit skeptical about buying the EU version...

3DS and WII U do the same thing. I did this for Yokai Watch, changed the OS from german to english and all the voice acting in the game was in english. It really sucks that you have to go this way, because developers are too lazy to implement such an easy option.

And this is why they should have scrapped voice acting and stayed with the grunts xD

Having a language option is always good specially if the cart already has the languages, just don't make it like EA which asks you everytime you boot up the game and forgets to flag your preference.

Did Nintendo's WiiU games let you select your multi5 language? I think it's been dependant on your system settings.

Well you gotta start a petition for that then? All could be solved with a simple patch I imagine. That said, if Nintendo can't be assed, look into emulation or hacking.

I feel similar: PC gaming is looking more and more attractive to me as time goes by.

I don't really see how discussing the other side is relevant to the topic, I haven't seen anybody I know to be a Nintendo hater posting in this thread, as far as I know everyone that said they were dissapointed by this decision by Nintendo actually are dissapointed by it. I know I am legit disappointed, I've watched that video comparing all 8 audio tracks that's on youtube (link) and I found the English dub to be the worst of the 8, and thanks to this decision by Nintendo I'm stuck with the English dub since I'm not fluent in any of the other languages. The English Zelda actress in particular ruins the English dub for me, she sounds nothing like I would have expected Zelda to sound, and worse still she ruined that crying scene, every single one of the other Zelda actresses conveyed the emotion of that scene better than she did. 

You are clearly not talking about this thread in particular when you posted "let's defend everything Nintendo does". So no. And you can be dissapointed as many here, that does not change the fact that some are overreacting to these news like all the week.
