Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo: There is too much confusion about anything!

But all the discussion I see is mostly "Nintendo is stupid because of xy".

I don't think that was their intention.

It doesn't matter what people talk about your product as long as they are talking about it.

The confusion is intended. Look at this site. There are Switch threads EVERYWHERE! It's the hot topic and that won't change too soon. People just can't stop talking about it and why is that? Because they have so many questions. If Nintendo would just give all information right away, no one would still talk about the console. With what Nintendo is doing right now, it is generating hype.

Good point there! And who knows. Maybe Nintendo want to see people's reactions which would allow them to change or implement something.

And for the online thing. It wont be free until later in the year.

Well, then let's hope that this kind of talk will bring them new customers.

I think they've done a good marketing job so far. Showing off the main features and I bet there will be a couple more Switch directs about its features soon.

PR is hard.

Nintendo did what Nintendo always does, I saw nothing different with the switch reveal that what we are use to.

Nintendo is a very chaotic company.

They may have been a bit unclear about the online bit, but haven´t they been very open about most other things? We know the pricing, games that are coming out for it, they have demonstrated the various ways in which one can play. What have they been so quiet about?

Online services are pretty unclear, but that's something your already said about.

- User interface of the Switch, what features? What can I do?

- What about VC? Do I have to pay again for all the games I already own on the Wii U and 3DS? What VC games will be available? What about the features of the VC? Like saving the game? Miiverse is gone.

- What about the share function? How will this one work?

- What features with the friendslist contain? How does it look like?

- Will there be an achievement system?
