Nintendo games are still highly valuable to me, but it is extreamly hard to justify paying for devices, specifically for their games.
When I buy a PS Console or Handheld, it is coming with near industry leading graphics, industry leading 3rd party support, the ability to connect with firends/family via PSN, Local and streaming Music, Photo, and Video Services, a highly functional web browser, built in calander and email apps, and much more.
I expect all of that stuff when I buy a console/handheld/phone/laptop/etc. So when Nintendo comes in at nearly the same price for tech that is 6 - 10 years old, dosent't offer sevices that can be used across multiple devices, and offer almost no non Nintedo support it is very hard to justify.
Ultimatly I would love for Nintendo software to be available on more versitle platforms. It would be a major boost in value if Nintendo games were available on PS and Xbox Consoles and Handhelds/Phones. However, for now Nintendo is continuing the require people to buy their specific box for their titles.
Really, for those that have a hard time seeing why so many people have issue with Nintendo hardware. Ask youself, would you buy an Xbox if it only had MS software? Would you buy a PlayStation if it only had Sony software? Would you buy a Take Two console if it only had Rockstar and 2K games? How about an EA only console?
If the entire industry was asking you to buy a specific console to play their games, how many would you buy? Would you really own boxes Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, EA, Activision, Take Two, Ubisoft, Capcom, Konami, and Square-Enix?
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
