ARMS is definitely the most interesting new IP from Nintendo to come out of the Switch presentation and beeing a fighting game the size of the roster is key to the success of the game. Personally I think that at launch the game will have a 20 characters roster that will keep beeing updated for free similarly to what Nintendo did with Splatoon, this release schedule has proven to keep the players interested and active in the game so it could do wonders for what seems to aspire to become an e-sport. So how many characters do you think will be in the ARMS roster?

Thinking 10-12 is reasonable for starting point and adding more later will be nice.

How many different types of arms can you even have that are unique enough to be worthwhile? More than 8 for sure, but not tons. Maybe a few characters will be added for free down the line

I'd hope to see around 15, but has it been said that the final version will have a lot more content? If Nintendo are releasing 1 2 Switch for £40 then you never know =_=
