The PS4 will double the Switch in 2017. If not treble it.

Double most likely but I don't see it trebling it....

I know its easy to look at the wiiU and say that thing didn't even mange in 4yrs what the PS4 does in 1 year, but i really think the switch has a chance of catering to both mobi.........

You know what never mind. As i was typing this i realized you may be right. The switch costs $300. Its literally the most expensive of the three consoles out there right now.

PS4 Red Dead Redemption 2 bundle will outsell everything in this fall.

Don't  forget the 60mill+ install  base when horizon  arrives, the switch  needs to sell soo many systems  that not even ps4 could  do,i dont see that happening. + the game  looks and seems  absolutely  fantastic.

I do  see zelda  having  better  scores.

I'am  not bothered  either  way just giving  you what you asked, comparing  the games.

I mean this in a friendly  way.

Zelda will be helped by the fact that it is a launch game and has very little competition. I also think it will have far better legs than Horizon

Not trying  to  be a absolute  fanboy, but that's  what they said about  uncharted 4 too.

2017 it definitely  will reach 10mill.

But i hope your  right  zelda looks  absolutely  fantastic!!

Tbh even in games switch  is noo match.

Horizon  will destroy  zelda.

Uncharted  will massacre splatoon.

Gran turismo  sport will crush mario kart8 port

And then we have the  huge absolutely  gigantic  amount  of Japanese  games.

Xenonblade 2 though  :( give it

Not sure about Horizon destroying Zelda, I think Zelda wins that one crticially and commercially.

Uncharted and Splatoon are very different and not worth comparing

But I'll be getting them all anyway, so I'm not bothered

I agree with Horizon not destroying Zelda, but not because of the critics or anything.

In the first month after Switch's release, the PS4 will get Horizon, Nier Automata and Persona 5. And Mass Effect Andromeda too, no? And surely others I don't follow, so the sales will be divided between all these games, where all Switch buyers will have to buy Zelda because it will be kinda the only game on the console. That also means that a normal PS4 month will be a lot better games-wise than the Switch's release month. That's pretty bad.

Not only that, but this year will more than likely see a major PS4 pricecut to go alongside God of War and Gran Turismo. We're looking at another 18 Million plus year depending on software released at the end of the year.

Switch, much like the Xbox One before it, isn't guaranteed to have a stellar opening year. Missing the first 2 Months of 2017 isn't gonna help that total too. They should be happy with anything between 6-8 Million considering the sour word of mouth following Wii U and the launch price of Switch itself.

Switch will have a decent release and then it's going to bomb....Casual market will ignore it because of the cost. PS4 and Xbox one can under cut the switch by more then $50 next holiday.

If yesterday presentation shown us anything is that expect more of the same software release that you had on the WiiU. Sure, they have a new Zelda game at launch but let's be honest here that game should of came out last year on WiiU. None of the third party have any games ready to go. Even Ubisoft seem to have stayed away.

Nintendo is still controlling the message but come March 3rd, all the information will be available and the technical issues with the switch will see the light. If the portable version that goes from 1080P to 720P suffer from both lower frame rate and longer load times that will be a major issue. I would advice everyone to not jump in blindly and wait for reviews.

Couldn't agree more. For this price, it's a slightly improved Wii U. They are using the exact same strategy and expecting it to work this time, which is insane. For 300 dollars, it is a weak home console with less games.

For 200 dollars, it would be powerful portable device and a worthy 3DS sucessor. The higher price point removes it from this market. Nintendo sold 60M 3DS and 12M Wii U, they should know better about which one is their main market.

I expect a dockless version for 200 dollars soon.

Thought this was going to be about games, which would be more interesting

For sales, it's PS4 by 2:1

Tbh even in games switch  is noo match.

Horizon  will destroy  zelda.

Uncharted  will massacre splatoon( heck maybe  zelda+ splatoon)

Gran turismo  sport will crush mario kart8 port

And then we have the  huge,  absolutely  gigantic  amount  of Japanese  games.

Xenonblade 2 though  :( give it

Destory is a big word for that Horizion/Zelda comparisson.

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

The cost of the system is all in the screen and joycon controllers. Dock probably just contain HDMI out, power supply, USB Ports and cooling system.

PS4
XBOX

and somewhere far down the line Switch.

PS4 no doubt. Switch is going to have a hard time getting by after launch. It's Wii U all over again imo.
