I love the art style. Plus visually looks great. A stable frame rate is preferred.

I watched it in 480p so it was harder to tell, but it looked ok.
nothing looked particularly impressive graphically unfortunately. I think caring about graphics too much on this system will be a waste of time
I agree that the mc has too much anime influence. Shulk and his team are still the best xenoblade protags.

The sad part is, your basing your whole argument on that. Lol.
I never realized that some people just have bad taste.
XC2 is a step in the right direction. If you don't like it, then too bad; you're the minority.

Your opinion is a pretty terrible one. Thanks for sharing.
I just really don't like the art style of the main character. Something about that jar backpack is so weird.
The other characters look fine. Run-of-the-mill anime stuff, but otherwise pleasant.
Thought it looked like the original, can't say that's negative in my view! If the world is as diverse as Bionis/mechonis this thing will be a beaty anyhow.
I can believe the level of how dismissive people are right now. We saw very little of the game and it gets labeled for having a super generic style based on that? Usually it's the blocky going for realism style that get criticized. Never thought I'd see Nintendo fans attacking a game for being cell-shaded. Dislike some of the character design sure (the pants on MC are Kingdom Hearts bad), but this style is FAR better suited for the hardware.

That doesn't look bad in any way.
