I wasn't interested in buying a Xbox One and it hasn't changed now and will probably never change. I more than happy with my PS4. Third-party games look better on it and the exclusive games are more fantastic on PS4 than Xbox One.

You seem confused. So let me try this again. You said there will be a slew of software announcement. How many games would you say a "slew" is. Do you think any of these games will be exclusive to the Scorpio, or designed for the Scorpio? |
At least 4-5 new titles from Microsoft studios or partners.... but that's including Halo 6 and Forza which is already expected. There won't ever be exclusive Scorpio titles, all Microsoft exclusives are for Xbox one, Scorpio and Windows 10. I expect Microsoft to partner with some indie devs but I'm not including that in the 4-5 news tiltles. I'm also not including any VR or Hololens games annoucement that could happen at E3.
It is somewhat wishful thinking but also logical Phil Spencer took over in early 2014. Got rid of Kinects and brough backward compability. Microsoft probably started working on scorpio mid-2015 and with the new hardware they would of made decision to bring new software that would boost and help sell the Scorpio and Xbox one. Any new unannounce game development will take at least 2-3 years of development and these new game would probably not be ready for 2017. But, EA 2017 is when we should get some news about Microsoft future plans.

Won't have to wait long... E3 2017 will be huge this year for the big 3. |
The last e3 that Microsoft had a LOT of surprise announcements was e3 2014, where they announced Scalebound(cancelled), Crackdown 3(might take more than 3 years to make..super delayed), Phantom Dust REMAKE(cancelled - now a port), Fable Legends(cancelled), and Sunset Overdrive(flopped). If they have a lOT of surprises most of them are going to come more than a year and a half down the road - that's actually much worse than Sony(something no one ever brings up , it's like people forget that Microsoft is worse than Sony when it comes to delays).
If we do get a surprise that will sell Scorpios, it will be Halo 3 Remaster, Halo 6 beta, or MAYBE a rushed Halo 6. But the last one is a bit unlikely.
Nope couldn't care less. PG has a spotty record as it is. I wouldn't dare hinge my console purchase on one game from PG. Not even Bayonetta (sorry Bayonetta).
If it was Lost Odyssey 2 then I would have been heartbroken.
If anything I am more interested now, although not sure if that will lead to actual purchase
Scalebound was always shit from Day 1, it's ongoing develoment saga only confimed that.
But funnily enough it's cancellation made me take another look at remaining Xbone exclusives, Sea of Thieves being #1.
Thing is that I don't like MS offerings over-all and needing to pay for online just for few games seems crazy.
But the cancellation of Scalebound has only helped Xbone's case with me.

The new title are needed for 2018 and 2019 lineup thats the annoucement I'm expecting at this E3. I don't see Halo 6 until 2018. If I were Microsoft I would release the scorpio with a bundle 4k optimized version of both Halo 5 and Gears 4. The launch lineup for Scorpio would include Scorpio optimized Forza Motorsports 7, State of decay 2, Crackdown 3 & Sea of thieves.

Pretty sure Crackdown 3's developement team alreaedy confirmed on their twitter or something that Crackdown 3 is a Scorpio launch title with 4k support. Which, to me, really means "this is what you get - this is the Halo and/or Gears of this year". That is unless they release a Halo 3 remaster(something i'd actually be excited about). Crackdown 1 got good sales off a Halo 3 beta, and since Halo 5 got a beta in december and scorpio is releasing in the holidays, I would not be surprised if Crackdown 3 was advertised as a reason to buy an Xbone for the Halo 6 beta. I'd make sense too because 3rd person open world games are super popular.
If you havnet already got an X1 by now and 1 game which looked mediocre has changed your mind, chances are they never wanted one in the first place.
