Dragons? Yeah, I miss Drakengard. :(
If rumours of MS screwing over PG are true where senior staff in the game had to go on a month leave due to being overworked and stressed and Kamiya himself is out of action, I would take that ad as a dig at PG more than MS. It's not like MS cares and it's PG who have staff that have not been paid for a month and that are now jobless and penniless.
Poland? Without offending anyone but I can't take that post seriously. ^^
Btw why are people overreacting to this? It's just a little gag from Platinum Games.

Finally the one who tells it like it is.
Platinum Games still needs to make money somehow.
Changed the title of the thread to a question since it doesn't seem clear if it's a jab towards Scalebound or if it's a reference to Drakengard/Nier. You decide!

These Xbox guy is very silly, since Xbox S is still bigger than original PS4... and Scorpio will certainly be bigger than PS4Pro

I can't see how this was even taken as a reference to Scalebound.......like are people being serious that thought this? Seems like some SERIOUS reach if you ask me.....
The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Although I fully understand that this could very well be a Drakengard reference, i don't think that it being a reaction to Scalebound (either from Sony or PG themselves) is that far fetched and just for the sake of the argumentation, i will try to defend it.
Obviously there is the timing, it would very unluck if this was indeed a coincidence.
Then, you have the way the sentence seems to be about something recent. If it means to say Dragons are extinct, there were other ways.
Finally, Drakengard as a series managed to sell just over 1M over 10 years of life, half of that on Japan. Actually using a Drakengard reference in a serious prommotion material of its spin off game in Polony sounds at least as a very weak marketing push.
Scalebound cancellation is trending among game channels and because of that it can very well be more recognizable than Drakengard right now.

That is in extremely poor taste. Especially since Platinum is the one making Nier Automata.
Maybe they're mad that MS cancelled their game and they're taking pot shots? But if it's Sony's marketing that made the image, then that was just uncalled for.
