As someone said here, a console (like any piece of tech like phones/handhelds/TV/etc.) is a long term investment. Sure $200 would be nice but if Nintendo thinks it can profit off $250, then that's where they'll go for the time being. Again, Nintendo wants to profit. You could sell a console at $200 and possibly barely break even or not earn the potential profits you'd hope for. |
my thing is a huge number of people buy ing 300 or 400$ phones, all the way up to like 800$. It's ridiculous for someone to expect a gaming system to end up being like free. Sub 200$ is just crazy at this point in time for a high quality screen, decent portable game specs, a decent battery, etc.
do me a favor people and look into like tablets even, which have limited realistic function, there is not a lot sub 200$
