That was an incredible poor choice of a post to add to the ban note. The message that the mod team sends with such a moderation is that the team doesn't only tolerate bullshit posts, but actively protects them. This in turn keeps the chain of irony going, because the mod team is out of touch with how things should be handled.

Think about it: If you kept this standard for moderations, you would have to ban Miguel_Zorro for bumping a thread to point out how wrong someone else was, which is something he did last week.

Remember the discussion about moderating people who don't break the rules, but should be moderated anyway? They followed through on that and banned quickrick recently.

Is there a mod here that can confirm this?
