First shipment is 1.07M. So eventually FFXV will reach 1M at retail. Retailers will cut the price (already done) until they sell through all copies. Second shipment won't ever happen, though.

3DS top selling handheld.  Destroyed it's competition too.

It was a close fight, but 3DS is the best selling gaming console in japan for 2016! 6 years straight, almost a record :p

Mobile phones are the best selling gaming devices now.  Sadly for dedicated handhelds.

Sadly mobile phones arent gaming consoles. Do we have numbers for phones in the MC/Famitsu? Nope, my point exactly.

 

Edit: If you take your logic into account i guess that means ps4 was never king of any charts in any week? Since mobile obviously wins, but luckily thats wrong

PS4 has a chance at peaking this year. I think it wont sell under 1.5mil so it really depends on switch. 3DS wont have a nice decline like last year, it can still do around 800k-1mil though

Not really since they mentioned gaming devices at the end, not mobile/portable. Team Phone won, doesn't matter if you are home console, or portable console. That is why the category "dedicated" gaming device showed up, because mobile won.
