It's as it says in the title. What is your favorite twin stick shooter of all time and why? What's your favorite of 2016. I haven't played any well enough to participate myself, but I've been watching quite a few Let's Play videos of Assault Android Cactus and Enter the Gungeon recently. I'm wondering what gems I may have missed out on, and what fan's favorite features are in these games.

The Housemarque stuff on PS3/PS4/Vita has been great. I have all the Super Stardust games ( minus the PSP version ) and all the Dead Nation games. Dead Nation might be my fav. Lots of classics that I can't remember ATM.

Alienation I sunk tons of time into, but looking back, I think Deadnation was my favourite. I really hope they make a sequel to it as unlikely as it is.
