Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump: Let it be a arms race

So you're saying that if Bush had more nukes that he wouldn't have done 9/11?

Nope. A nuclear arms race and prevention of terrorist attacks are two very different topics.

It's not about the tally of nuclear weapons, it's about the USA being taken seriously again. People just laugh at Obama for such things as what happened a few days ago where he signed a bill or something about religious freedom for atheists worldwide.

You mean the congressional amendment to the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998?  It just added atheists and non-theists to a bill that's already nearly 20 years old.

Yes, that's the one.

Yeah and the Bush adminstration failed to find him for seven years.

JFK's generals thought the Russian's were "laughing" at the US for not invading Cuba ... truth is JFK likely saved the world from World War III.

IMO, if Trump was president, in a situation like that, it would have turned out to be a disaster. He is going to be led around like a dope by military generals who know all you have to do is stroke his ego a bit and challenge his manhood to manipulate him into going along with anything.

That is not a good leader.

The Bush administration gave the order to find Bin Laden, that's what counts. You can't assign Bin Laden's death as an accomplishment of Obama when it is merely a consequence of what the president before him did. You tried to use Bin Laden as an example of Obama not being a wuss when all Obama did was to report that Obama had been caught.

lol, which country would not have given an order to go find Bin Laden in similar circumstances. The Bush adminstration is the one that went off to Iraq to fight a war against a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, and for all that military flexing and all the bombs dropped in the Middle East, do we have any more peace to show for it today? Did Russia not walk right into Georgia under Bush?

A least IMO Obama avoided sending troops to Syria, as bad as the situation is, it would've been worse in the long run with direct US involvement. It would've become a never ending quagmire.

blahblahblah.... nukes... blahblahblah... lame, better ask his daughter when her sex tape is out because that's the only thing i care about.

The only relevance Bush had to this thread was your wrong Obama example. I am not interested in discussing what else that idiot did.

Of course Obama avoided sending troops to Syria. He is a wuss, after all. Not that it was the wrong decision in this specific case, but Obama simply was the embodiment of a neutered USA. That's the entire point here. Obama's response to other countries building nuclear weapons would be "please don't do it" while Trump is much more aggressive with his "I dare you to do it." The latter is better for world peace, because out of all countries with nuclear weapons, the USA remain the most trustworthy. If they scare the rest of the bunch, good.

And Bush was the embodiment of a "muscular" USA.

I'll take the thoughtful president any day, thank you very much.

And actually Obama's response to other countries building nuclear weapons (namely Iran) was to work out a deal that stopped their nuclear program.

Gotta distract people away from his small hands at all cost.

We need a genocide of the ill-educated. That way people like Trump can never come into power again

How can you say such things as a moderator of a forum. O_O
