people that mattered? okeydokie.

I don't play multiplayer but I will advocate that a lively online community is better than a dead one with a handfull of people that shows up at a certain hour of the day.

Yeah you know, something called friends, I know its hard to comprehend sometimes :)

I think a congratulations is in order here.

Not sure about your data, but apart from the odd exclusive I can't imagine how other people would rather play on anything else. PC really is the perfect place to play.

How is the he perfect place to play when it's missing out on all the big exclusives?

Cuz exclusives don't matter much anymore. There are just too many great games on pc for anyone to care.

Why is it that pc gamer's always feel the need to convince us they are better? If they really were would we need to be reminded every 5 minutes lol its like they have a point to prove or something. Reminds me of when you are in school and theres little fat loser kid who thinks he knows it all but everyone can't stand him cause he's annoying asf xD

Anyway pc gaming doesn't suit my lifestyle atm, im always on the move so something small and easy to travel with is more convenient for me. I know people would probably say get a gaming laptop or something but those are 3-4 times the price of a ps4 usually lol so why would i buy one when i can buy a ps4 and a huge library of games for less than a gaming laptop with no games.

Too many great games - like?

Of course it is, many of us realized about it time ago, but your data is wrong, the word "exclusive" is completely false going by those numbers.

I'm sorry but most Playstation gamers have been kept satisfied enough to not switch to PC.  In fact most of my R6 and BF buddies are ex pc heads.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

So it was a good selling point when MP was free on PSN last gen but now that it cost money, it doesnt matter? l0l

Free MP is always a good selling point especially when you have a group of friends or a guild who plays different games on different platforms. Cant expect everyone to pay to a paywall just to play together, not everyone is gonna do that for whatever reason.

the online community was lively then, and still is now. that's the point, what a joke right?

PC communities are just as lively if not more. Userbase on Steam is bigger than on PS4, Counter-Strike is by far the most played FPS of all and that's just Steam. I didn't find any stats right now, but I also can't complain about the activity at Battlefield 4 and 1. I always find games instantly im every game mode.

It's really ok to prefer whatever platform you like. It's not ok to pull arguments out your ass though. Free online is, was and always will be a pretty big plus. It also doesn't stop with the normal use. On PC you can also set up your very own server. So if some dev decides they kill some Online Game you really like, you can still play it with some friends, no problem.

Sorry for full-quote and possibly double-post, but I'm on my phone right now. But I got a pretty decent laptop in summer for just 555 €. With an i5, 16 Gigs of RAM and a GeForce 960M that sucker plays every modern game in decent quality. 1080p is no problem most of the time with medium settings. I personally prefer 768p with high framerates, but that's just me.

Selective memory much? PC gamers are in no way more obnoxious than console gamers when it comes to defending their platform. For every OMG GRAPHICS 1000FPS!!!! you have an OMG PRICE ADVANTAGE AND EXCLUSIVES!!!!! thread. The threads are not meant to sway anybody but just to counter the opposite point. Everyone has already made their choice so there is no convincing anyway.

So as long as we can just all agree that PC is inherently better in every way, we're fine.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

PC always was the place to game.
