So according to gaf we're looking at 150gf in portable mode and 400gf when docked.

So docked is at par with Wii U.

Portable speed should be fine for sub-HD resolutions as I expected.

Oh my god no... PLEASE NO!

It's WEAKER than an Tegra X1??? and in Handheld Mode the GPU only runs at 40% speed???

No wonder Zelda's frame rate looked dodgy undocked. This is awful news, please tell me it's not true.

Of course, but the degree of downclocking is massive.

Even when docked it´s pretty bad. Every penny over $199 is a scam for this imo.

Shield TV is $199 and has a decent controller packed in.

But Shield TV isn't a portable device with a screen on it.

I think $249 is fair and hopefully that includes a game like Splatoon or Mario Kart.

Unfortunately when is Eurogamer wrong?

I expected a massive downclock when un-docked to improve battery life, I have zero issues with that. I don't quite get why that downclock while docked though. Except from that, it's more or less what I expected.

I think my prediction will prove right, then. You're going to be getting Wii U graphics on the go, running at 720p, while plugged in it'll probably be near the same, only in 900p-1080p. Not bad for a handheld. Very bad for something Nintendo is saying is their next flagship home console. If they truly are considering releasing a more traditional HH in the near future (1-2 years), this thing is going to be another Wii U. Maybe they can grab some of the tablet audience, though I have my doubts.

I guess this also adds credibility to the X1, not X2, rumors.

I don't see how bestheda would be excited from this........

I could have dealt with the low power home console for a very strong handheld, but... the Handheld is so much more underclocked then I would have ever guessed. I was expecting maybe 400Gflops HH, 600 Gflops Docked... not 150/400. In terms of power this machine is a joke, how can it last 5+ years on the market? I'm very disappointed... I'll still be getting one but... wow.
