What were sony thinking? Releasing yakuza 6 and the last guardian in the same week

Definitely!  It would obviously be more successful on the switch. 

Eh, aren't they just retailating for the doom threads of the last three years? Which Sony fans will retailate further and so on and so on. Not like it matters, if you attack either long enough you get banned. 

I cannot really comment last guardian at all, had no idea what to expect, besides hoping for the fans it wasn't duke nukem. 

Modest numbers for TLG

Pokemon still strong and looks like Mario Maker 3DS will do okay

Is that Miitopia's debut? A bit disappointing to say the least.

The Last Guardian is selling as expected for a game of its caliber.

FFXV's sales has more to do with the declining console market in Japan rather than the franchise itself. And besides, I'm sure this game drew in a healthy amount of new (Western) fans because of its departure from traditional turn-based combat.

Ps4 is selling  better  in the same  timeframe then ps3. 

Which" decline" are you talking  about? 

Intervally it may be so, but I still believe in the grand scheme of things, console gaming is declining in that market.  We'll just have to wait and see the end result.

Hope Yakuza 6 did something like 600k.

So Final Fantasy XV's 2nd week was below that of Super Mario Maker 3DS and the launch of the Last Guardian...
