While the ratio this thread is based on will get lower and lower every day.

Its a huge dissapointment from only a franchise point of view. That and its suppose to be (with DQ) the biggest franchise on sony platforms

That just prooves that Japan pretty much lost its importance as a console consumer on a local scale. DQ and FF are not even in the top 20 franchises for the PS on a global scale when it comes down to sales.

all it takes is a bump...on the right day....and we all are reminded how well FFXV sold...

For now we know that ratio wise it sold only half of that of FFXIII. 33% of PS3 owners in Japan bought FFXIII at launch. On a bigger install base no less. Seems a tiny bit more impressive don't you think?

FFXIII was nothing to shake a stick at...I think the attach rate was like 1 out of 8 if that...with non existent digital sales.
if ps4 was at its 8 or 10 mil sales point then yeah....oh dear..690k is franchise bad....come on dude...really...put some effort do some homework.
