PSX had really good reveals though. Nothing mini about it. The real question is "why do any of them have an E3 at all? 

Good point about E3.... plus who wants to wait a full year for new content . 

Did anyone else catch Shawn's poke at Microsoft and their future hardware? It was cleaver but true... gamers want games and Sony has the clear advantage not just in terms sheer of 1st party AAA titles but also in terms of diversity. With each show, their offering becomes more intense and varied. There were at least 5 games shown that I really want just from this show.

also there's a mini a nintendo mini e3 next month, I would say bigger than e3 for Nintendo anyways. I guess Nintendo directs is the reason and that's why we don't have a Nintendo Spaceworld like back in the days. Xbox needs more content to do something like this. Was a good show!

This conference showed again why Playstation has the best line-up out of the big 3!
Seriously though, Sony is the only of them who has 3 big conferences every year while Microsoft and Nintendo only have E3 and Sony still manages to destroy both of them at E3. This conference was also better than Microsoft and Nintendo's E3 conferences. Sony is doing a fantastic job!

I mean why dont MS or Nintendo have a yearly event at a set date for fans and announcements. Those Directs are just streams and happen randomly.

It feels like an eternity since we last heard from Microsoft, "there was Scalebound to look out for and what else" is what I'm asking myself. They announce stuff at E3 and then disappear for another year. Meanwhile there's so many stuff to look out for on PS4 that I can't keep up and have to consult a list of announced games.

Sony keeps a big conference every 6 months(TGS excluded), the format is excellent imo, they're keeping the momentum.

My advice for MS is to organize a fan event and announce 1 classic every year, be it og Xbox remasters, Conker sequel, Japanese support etc

Yeah the conferences are getting ridiculously good, and expectations are always very high for a Sony show anyway.
