But when the posting happened on the thread itself there is no need to direct quote everyone when he says that.

I only know which route many prefer ("I remember posts from...", "some of you said that") which I think is not a good way of discussing as that isn't really a discussion. Not to mention that many imagine these people just to paint a picture of a thread that is wrong (that doesn't necessarily apply here).

It's a common pattern that gets used more and more and I think it's bad for people to talk to each other as they aren't talking directly to each other, at all. They get "attacked" passively and in the end one can say "Oh, no, I didn't mean you but another guy".

More OT, once again the notion that ps4 flooded retailers for Black Friday is looking increasingly likely as from a value proposition perspective, MS had an edge with the numerous available bundles and the deceptive marketing on Black Friday.
