It does look pretty weak. Its basically 3D Mario and some ports. Even 3rd party efforts that people look forward to are more ports. Skyrim? 2011.

For me as a Wii U owner, Switch doesn't look appealing at all. We'll have to see their future installments, but since Switch is basically a mobile Wii U I don't expect much from them.

Can you atleast wait until Jan 12th, you know when we actually know everything....

3D Mario alone is enough for me! Worked perfectly fine with the N64. You know what the launch line-up for the N64 was here in germany? Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64, that's it, two games, the end. I still consider it the best launch line-up in history.

After all, quality is bettet than quantity. Where's the fun with a launch line-up like, say, the PS4? A few mediocre titles like Killzone and Knack together with a bloody broken Battlefield that wasn't even playable for the most part. Yeah, no thanks. I'll take fewer but better games over that any day.

So, if the new Mario game is just as good as the predecessors, the launc line-up is friggin' great in my book! Only if Mario can make it at launch, of course.

From that list, the only new game I can get and am interested in is 3D Mario, I hate Rabbids, I have a 3DS for Pokemon Sun&Moon, others are ports or enhanced versions, Sonic I can get on PS4. Skyrim I finished 5 years ago. Why do people say Zelda? I already have a Wii U. It seems so many people didn't have a Wii U and thats why they are fine with the ports (because they never owned and played the games on Wii U). True Nintendo fans support the system no matter the gimmicks, I got the system in 2013 even though I hate the Gamepad so much.

Now many games I bought on Wii U get a better version on Switch, online populations will be dead if they dont allow crossplay(which they likely wont if they introduce small new mechanics) and I'll be forced to upgrade.

I hope whatever Retro is working on is a new AAA IP and lets hope F-Zero and Wave Race come as well.

Only 3 games in the line up are from Wii U and two of them may not be ports at all anyway, as a Wii U owner that line up is leagues above the line up Wii U had in the first year. As a first year line up I can't think of many console that have had a line up like what he listed you'd have to go back to the days of the SNES.

This is pretty much true and I think people on both sides of the fence should accept that they both have valid perspectives.  Some Nintendo fans are absolutely going to love this line-up and they're not wrong.  There is a lot of content and that is always better than a lack of content.  A lot of fans will be pleased.  However, some people look at this and they see a good chunk of content that does not excite them for various reasons.  They aren't wrong, either.  Some Wii U/3DS owners aren't going to be moved by this line-up and others who skipped the Wii U because it had a line-up that didn't really grab them aren't going to see much here that yells "must own" besides Zelda.

It's a strong line-up but it's understandable if some people are less than excited right now.

As a Wii U owner, the majority of their line up looks like their predictable mascot games, but it's still better than the Wii U's line up with a new 3D Mario on the way, Zelda and possibly Pokemon Stars to follow the same year.

I'd say the Switch is off to a better and more impressive start than the Wii U. Give me some AAA 3rd party exclusives then the Switch will have already overshadowed the Wii U.

Never thought I'd see the day when 3D Mario and Zelda in a Nintendo consoles 1st year let alone the rest of the games wasn't good enough.
