Yes, I tried to read, but you don't keep any consistence in your posts

Ok, now even I regret that we taught peasants the word FLOPS.

Ah, you younglings and your 4K this and FLOPS that. Open your minds to the idea that all technology is on its way to obsolescence, its only a matter of time. Always the newest, most expensive, latest gadget that you have to go broke too own. And then all of a sudden, its busted old crap, and you need to buy the next shiny new gadget. Stop and enjoy what you have now for just a moment. The Switch doesn't need to be an epiphany of technological awesomeness, it just needs people who know how to relax and enjoy fantastic Nintendo games. When you are as old as I am Vivster, and have played games for as long as I have, you will realize that the time you spend enjoying a game is the only thing that matters. Everything else is just a distraction.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

For some reason I feel more immersed by high fidelity but feel distracted when a game fires fist sized pixels at me at a speed of 30 per second. But I guess I'm just weird that way.

I have been gaming for over 25 years and still look eager to the next marvel showpiece I'll see.

I don't know if it's really appropriate to consider the acceptability of 720p because it's "portable". The NS is already too big to fit in a pocket, so the next size bracket is if it fits in a backpack, which it does. But, that also pits it against windows 10 tablets that can offer a vast library of steam games at the same resolution, or higher if you buy a higher end model.

No, its size is between a Vita and the Wii U tablet controller.  It is probably even leass clunky than a Vita with grip controller or a 3DS XL with Circle Pad Pro.

It should fit in a normal jacket pocket just fine:

And in the summer, there are a lot of options much smaller to transport such a device much smaller than a backpack.

4K = 720p x8+ (8.3M pixels V 0.92M pixels)

6TF = 0.75TF x8

4K PS4 Pro games could be played at 900p. (x5.8 pixels v 5.6 power)

1080p PS4 games could run at 720p. (x2.2 pixels v x2.4 power)

Even a 4K game on a 7TF PS5 could be run by Switch at 720p (x9) or a 12TF PS5 could be played at 720p upscaled from 540p. (x16 pixels v x16 power)

This assumes that the Scorpio will actually be able to play native 4K games which might not be possible looking at this thread http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=222629&page=1

The Tegra X1 has 350 Gflops.  The advertised 1000 Gflops were wrong. (http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Nvidia-Tegra-Hardware-255923/News/Nvidia-Tegra-X1-Maxwell-SoC-20-nm-1147051/ and https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/901337/jetson-tx1/cuda-7-0-jetson-tx1-performance-and-benchmarks/)

The iPhone 7 is the best performing mobile device yet with 730 GFlops. (http://forsythanalytics.tumblr.com/iphone7-gpu)

The new a10x chip which will be used in the spring 2017´s ipad pro is rumoured to boost to 2,1 Tflops though. That thing would be a beast lol.

The Tegra x2 might be ~1000 Gflops, but I doubt they will use it. To expensive.

Also you cant just out Tflops and Resolution in a relation. It doesnt make sense.

The iPhone 7 has the A10-SoC, not the A10X-SoC of the iPad Pro.

The A10 is in the same ballpark as the Adreno 530 and the Tegra X1:

The A10Fusion uses a PowerVR GT7600 Plus 7XT.

What is the performance of your source based on? The x1 is inferior in every benchmark compared to the A10Fusion or A9X, let aloen the upcoming A10X.

iPhone 7+ (A10Fusion): 106 FPS
