Nobody's guessed this yet, so here's the hint again and a little bit of help:
1.Two parallel worlds in conflict as saving one means endangering the other. The villain is partly named after a tree in Norse mythology.
2.Features a real-time battle system where up to four people can play at once.
#28. A SNES game that combines two genres beautifully. Made by a company that merged with another.
28- Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
Hint for 26: So many sidequests..

#28 Tales of Symphonia
The game that introduced me to the series, and to this day still my favourite entry in it. I played through this game in co-op with my friends, basically clearing every possible challenge in it, including the superbosses. The real-time combat is simply excellent and amazingly enjoyable, especially in co-op with every character being player controlled. Add to that the memorable characters and good story and the end result is one of the best JRPG's of its generation.
Nobody guessed Tales of Symphonia, so let's see if someone can figure the next one out:
An animal with a tiny companion using a divine painting tool to save and purify a kingdom in peril.
#28. A SNES game that combines two genres beautifully. Made by a company that merged with another.
Hint 2 - Fillmore

Yeah, it's an excellent game that pretty much got me into the series. I've been taking a bit of a break from it at the moment as I don't want to get burned out by the practically yearly releases it's doing right now, but I do enjoy these games whenever I play them.

Alright, I'm behind, so here's 2 hints.
28 - The latest game in the series, you are in a foreign land, with a system different from what you've worked with. A dance reveals the truth, and you must do the ultimate gamble to find the real truth. Also, a long time friend finally makes a return
27 - The return to a familiar place, and everything is looking better with its new looks... except I the hero am feeling.. flat.
