I've thought of quite a few games already that should be on my list. Annoying

Anyway, #46: gorgeous JRPG, with some familiar combat mechanics

Ni No Kuni?

Correct

#50 Game Description: This spin-off jrpg series makes it's debut on a Sony platform, where the next (and final) 2 installments moved over to Nintendo handhelds. This is the 2nd spin-off game in this franchise was released on the GBA

Game hint: Anime Hairdo

-

#49 Game Description: This is yet another spin-off game where the developers used the IP from Nintendo. This game merges many of the characters from past titles within the franchise, though many are only obtainable through DLC

Game hint: The Guardian was split into 2 characters, the light which joins you near the beginning, and the dark which is the antagonist

-

#48 Game Description: This simulation game makes it's debut way back in the old console era and most games were released primarily on Nintendo systems though others have been released for Sony systems as well. It has moved mainly to the handheld systems, and this game was released only on a Nintendo handheld

Game hint: Game requires basically only touch controls to play

#50 I think it's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

#49 I think it's Hyrule Warriors (Legends?), although I haven't understood the hint, so I could be wrong.

Correct!

and #49 is the original Hyrule Warriors :D

#47 Game Description: This series is one of the biggest and most popular jrpgs out there. No need for other hints to elaborate :p

Game hint: Though you have a party, you cannot choose who to use since the story will decide who your companions are, aside from the main character

47- Half-Life 2

It's hard to find something wrong with HL2. I enjoy playing this game as much as I did back in 2004.

Hints:
40- Initial reception was lukewarm, but the game ended up being loved by both gamers and critics.
39- You can moonwalk in this game.
38- This was a welcomed installment after the previous one ended up being a disappointment. It's also considered to be a very difficult game.

38 - Devil May Cry 3

Correct!

You're moving fast.

Anyway 39: Castlevania? Either that or Michael Jackson's Moonwalker on Genesis.

It's Castlevania, but which one?

I thought the first one but on second thought KLXVER is right, it's not the first one. XD

Clue for #46:

This 6th gen racing game would not be welcome in Ireland.

Wolfenstein 3D franchise guessed by Darwinianevolution

One of the oldest first-person shooters in existence, and the second one I ever personally played, after Dark Forces, a Star Wars game. 'Wolfenstein 3D' played a large role in my lifetime interest in the Second World War, but obviously also in my interest in this genre of video games. Even at an inappropriately young age, I was allowed to play a game dripping in controversial imagery, but I'm glad I could.

The plot of the main game, which is divided into three parts, involves a soldier, the player, trying the break out of his prison at Castle Wolfenstein. Afterwards the player would carry out a mission to stop the Nazi plans to create a mutant army, culminating into the infiltration of Hitler's bunker where the player faces the famous robotic Hitler as final boss. Later on, expansion packs were released with additional missions, mostly serving as prequels.

Since this game has a high nostalgic value and has had a great impact on me personally, I revisit the game every once in a while. Still I haven't actually beat it all the way through, but I did make it to Hitler when only playing the final chapter once, strangely an epic moment in my gaming life.

#46: Callsigns of the famous pilots in this huge phenomenon of a franchise usually start with the letter 'R', but instead of 'Red' or 'Rogue', the callsign of the player's character implies he's a bit more, novice.

#48 Defunct franchise from a defunct publisher, now belonging to another publisher but still property of the same developer.

#47 First game of a remastered franchise.
