I don't think we'll see any serious droughts though, Nintendo will be able to give this console its entire attention and only make games for this one console. Droughts shouldn't be a problem then.

Even if Nintendo does everything it can but doesn't play nice with 3rd parties, then Nintendo fans would miss out on Madden, FIFA, Star Wars, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, etc.  Even if Nintendo releases 2 games per month, it will still feel like a drought.

2 games/month and during holiday season weäll be getting more than that I'm guessing. But I agree that I would much rather prefer every 3rd party game on the Switch as well, but I doubt that'll happen.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

How many thread predictions with Switch failing so far?

We reap what we sow

If Nintendo Switch fails, Nintendo will still sit on a shitload of money.

That's all we know for sure.

Sure, IF switch is a failure equivalent to the WiiU it should be there last console and they should look into something different.

Lets see if their greed kills it.

Im really hopeing for a 249$ price point so they have a fantastic launch.

Nintendo user base has shrunk to just 13m users with the Wii U.

Now is the time to build the userbase.

They have plenty of money in the bank, now they need to not be greedy, and sell this console at break even or slight loss.

249$ price point now, could be a move that ends up makeing them more money down the line.

For me, $200 or less is the ideal price

Not sure if $200 would be attractive enough to indicate a solid game console. It would be considered too cheap for general consumers since it's a hybrid that can play console games like Zelda BoTW and 3D Mario so it could undersell the value of the console if priced so low. About $250-299 would be the sweet spot. They want to ensure that they don't sell at a loss while gain profits similar to Wii/DS.

Don't bother replying these kind of posts. He shares this mindset that nintendo consoles hold no value and should be dirty cheap. I bet he thinks that nintendo games can run on a toaster.

But soon, I believe for $250-$299 you will be able to buy a PS4 Slim. Do you think that Switch can be compared to a PS4? Many consumers wouldn't see Swirch as a current generation material.

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

Can't they? Oww that's a shame. A Nintendo toaster could sell more than Wii U worldwide I guess.

And it will. Actually, it will sell a lot, but a lot more. It will be a success. A toaster that you can take the bread out and play huge hd nintendo games on the go. Can the other toasters do that? oh yeah, they can't. they just stand there below your tv, making breads that look prettier but the taste is the same.

Maybe there last home console. I don't know.

I suspect they'd bring out a real handheld if the Switch bombed.... They could do a Switch compatible handheld.
