I don't know if there's a hub world, but this new 3D Mario on Switch has more exploration than 3D World and Galaxy.

Open world Mario
Open world pokemon
Open world Mario Kart
Open world Kirby
Open world Super Smash :p

I don't put any stock in Rogers' rumors.

More exploration than Galaxy and 3D World would be pretty easy to accomplish.

Makes sense to me

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Is that a good thing though?

Which is the less fun 3D Mario to play nowadays

I dont even know... what? New Mario64 > new 3Dworld.

There are ALOT of people that think so.

I ll honestly be seriously disappointed if they do another mario like 3Dworld, instead of a 3D collectathon style mario.

Eh, I don't know about that. I would personally take 64 over Galaxy 2 and 3D World.
