Why would they offer free games if you own last gen versions lol. Did Sony do something similar with TLOUR or did GTA5 have a similar option. Sounds like bs to me

That is basically their solution to backwards compatability. again just a rumor.

They do want to make a profit on each console sold, so maybe it cost like 250$ to make one.

I doubt that's how it works since there is a stocking fee and etc.

Well maybe 260 bucks was the lowest they were willing to go, I dont know...

Seems fake and is as exciting as their 4gb news.... Like not exciting at all.

Price is good though, but seems like it goes out of its way to miss the $250 price point everyone seems to think it'd do best at... But not by much.

I can at least hope the price news is close to accurate.

Rumors suggest that the Nintendo Switch includes an NFC ID card to download your content onto other devices such as unlockable characters in Mario Kart and possibly games you own temporarily downloaded. This is their  solution for poor battery life. A card will be included, and new cards are available for around $10.

How would that address battery life? Expecting you to swap to a whole other system?...

Not necessarily. This would be the first time where if you turned in your game you get a big discount. Well they did do something like it with a upgrade from ps3 to ps4. But not for free on the digital market.

Yeah but if they do it for digital copies then they should do something for physical copies as well because it is unfair to those who bought it physically. We still had to pay for the game.

They don't have to do anything with physical copies. You own them forever to trade or sell as you see fit. Yes you had to pay for the game, but years later it still sits on your shelf. Digital owners aren't so lucky. Do something wrong and Nintendo takes it all away. I can see why they would do this for digital purchases, but not physical.

Maybe but I will still go with the rumor is nonsense about those prices.

It all goes back to the consumer, but basically Nintedno are saying that these three games are backwards compatible if you have them digitally, although they are  somewhat different games. They want to offer that sense of backwards compatability to consumers who own the physical copy as well. Idk though lmao

Maybe that or the less memory running on the console, the less battery consumed.

I only have MK8 anyway. I might get the Remastered version if it has some great new content.

Same here. I don't have any of the DLC so the remastered version is definitely a day one purchase for me. Actually all of them are day one purchases for me as long as they arent all released within a short timespan. If they are truly all available at launch, it's either going to be hard to make a decision, or R.I.P WALLET.
