Yep. 3DS will be 6 years old when Switch launches. Let it die with dignity rather than jeopardize the company's future by cannibalizing Switch.

True. I know Nintendo will use the 3DS to fall back on if the Switch doesnt do well, but they really need to go all in on this one. Marketing the 3DS along with the Switch will just confuse people.

The Dreamcast sold a total of 8.2 million units in its lifetime according to VG Chartz. What are you talking about? 

Dreamcast was avaliable for 2 years, this is the 4 year of the Wii U. I mean that they are selling at the same rate.

The sooner (after Switch launches) they kill it the better. They need all hands on deck for the Switch, they cannot afford to let it suffer from the droughts that crippled Wii U.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
