Forums - Nintendo - So Paper Mario Color Splash is a huge flop

VGcharts articles about sales in US and Europe.

We already knew it bombedhard in Japan, (28 000 after 2 weeks, with 7800 the second week).

What is cause? Low quality compared to the others? It was litterally the last decent game released on Wii U by Nintendo.

we don't want this paper mario, we don't want that metroid. it's simple.

It was a combination of it being a late WiiU title and being Sticker Star 2 more or less.

Super Paper Mario wasn't an RPG and sold 3.7 millions.

Color Splash will have trouble to reach 500k at this rate.

Had a negative reception since reveal. Nintendo doesn't seem to be able to take feedback when it comes to Paper Mario or Mario Party.

As expected tbh. It was everything the fans didn't want and it came at the end of Wii U's life.

I liked it, but its definitely the worst of the four.(SPM doesn't count)
It has some issues.

It's typical of Nintendo these days, botched games, half finished, games that refuses to be waht the fans asked for, released with little to no marketing.

The Nintendo Quality is really not what it was, I don't get why people don't see it. Nintendo dis a terrible job with their WiiU games.

Partly being pretty late on the Wii U's life cycle, probably some of the negative feedback from the fanbase.

Shame, cause it was a pretty nice game.

Nintendo just simply does not take feedback at all. And as a longtime fan I'm just really tired of this.
