The NX ceased to exist after it became NS, so technically they kept to their word.

I would never bomb France, change the name to Brance and I'll bomb it because that means the country doesn't exist anymore so I wouldn't have been lying.

I hope you're joking though.

Don't you know abbath? hehehe

Anyway,  the likehood  of wii u being the the only Nintendo home console that I won't own has become extremely big!

I can't and don't want to buy it for 300, howbeit if I see  it cheaper by 50 euros, I will hurry up to purchase  it! Such an expensive/overpriced cosnole...

I would like a better deal but I would be willing to settle for a  wii u costing 250 euros after those news.

It's hard to know when something is a joke or not in the Internet I know.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Well you know I think there's still some space left before any moderation. :P

But if I'd say something about this topic... if you thought support for the WiiU ended quickly, imagine Nintendo's intentions when they named the thing "switch".

Kishima: "Switch off NOW!"

It was killed off early because it was selling poorly and not making them as much money as they would have wanted. And if they thought cutting the price would have been profitable, they would have.

You know, that's the thing that bothers me the most about Nintendo as a company (well, that and the region lock thing).  They seem to always be thinking about "the profits for the next quarter" and not thinking about the future.  I often see the other two companies willing to take losses in order to increase their install bases and secure future customers.  The way I see it, a $50 loss in hardware is easily recovered in two or three games sold.  And you posibly win a potential long time customer in the process.

Of course, I know things are not that simple and there are a lot of other factors to take into accout but still,  as a costumer, I respect the other two for their willingess to take these risks (in the end I get better prices anyway).

I guess only time will tell which of these two diferent approaches will prevail.

the wii U was my fav system of nintys and I had them all!

although I only have 20 games most of them are AAA titles with lots of replay-ability.

News like this, makes me wonder how much the vita has sold and how much it will still be selling.

R.I.P.
3 years ago I would have never imagined that it would sell less than 14 million, a mess

Edit: and I would have never imagined that it would be outsold by the Vita. Another mess.

So Vgchartz don't fact check their stuff apparently because they post rumors as reports.

Nintendo denies stopping Wii U production. Heck the whole decision to stop this friday would have been insanely strange because then they wouldn't have anything until the Switch would come and Wii's where still produced almost 2 years after the Wii U came out.

Predictions
I will win the internetz

Nintendo also denied that they were going to make a 3DS XL just weeks before they announced it.. I wouldn't trust everything they say.
