I didn't. and I'll enjoy playing cod4/zombies/IW campaign infinitely (pun intended)  more than I ever would pokemon.

It was obviously a joke on his part and you just admited more tham you can chew or in your case croak xD

I know it was a joke.  I just used it to make the point that a lot of people would rather cod over pokemon.

COD got splitscreen fun.

Funny how Pokémon is more a milked franchise than CoD....milked series always sell best lol

and IW is far from a bomb in the U.K.....it's the second biggest release this year by a big margin.

Whether you want to call it milked rather than long running is up to you, but Pokemon is far less milked than Call of Duty.  Since it's start in 1996, Pokemon has had 6 mainline entries (about to be 7), 9 if you count remasters.  Call of Duty on the other hand has had 13 mainline entries not counting ports/remasters all just in the times since it's start in 2004.  Thats twice as many games in just a little over half the timespan.

Has it really only been 6? And Pokemon is pretty slick though making 2 versions of the same game to entice people to get both just to be able to get all the pokemon. But has it really only been 6 since the GB? And you are counting like sun/monn as one game right?

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Pokemon doing sooo well! I wonder if a massive Pokemon Go update will be before SM or after SM gets released.

Tbh only a small percentage buy 2 copies (pairs), nowadays its easy to get stuff from other games via trade online. That said look at sales in general, they are just plain huge. Lowest mainline game sold 15.62mil. All 3 remakes are 12mil+ including the last one which will hit 14mil lifetime :)

Pokémon has had 14-17 games on handhelds.....in 18 years......6-7 games on console. If that's not milked....than I don't know what I milked series is lol Red/Green/Blue you had to buy separately....not as one game. A franchise isn't just mainline games either....milking means the franchise as a whole obviously.

But splitscreen fun.
