The Wipeouts for ps3 and Vita were some of my favorite games for those systems, so remaster, sequel, I'm down for either.

Yep, he is teasing something in this direction.
Maybe they will do the same thing what they did with the Ratchet & Clank franchise with the Wipeout franchise. That would be awesome!

I don't care about VR but I would love a new Wipeout! But who would make it? Sony shut down Liverpool.
Been a while since I played a wipeout game... wouldnt mind seeing a new one.
I played a good deal of Faster Racing Neo, on the Wii U instead though.
No VR! No! That would be the definitive nail on the coffin for the series.
New game... definitly want. Fast Racing NEO was the only futuristic racer of note in the last few years. I would be ecstatic if a new Wipeout came out.

A new Wipeout would be great.
For those bagging on VR, get off the hate train. VR is the future. It would be great if Sony made Wipeout VR exclusive. Just as it will be great if the next games from Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch are VR exclusive as well. Sony has to put big games behind VR for it to mature, and pave the way for better games in the future. We have reached the limits out what a controller and a flat TV can achieve, all that is left is new stories, and better graphics. VR is where games can grow, and usher in brand new experiences.
Hopefully, the rumors of this new Wipeout are true, and hopefully it will have full VR support, to take it to the next level.
