Alright Im watching 1 more time then heading back to work.

dude what the hell, it's for people that's it. the "marketed at" thing is ridiculous. a handheld, home console, multiplayer esport machine and you can play the next mario, zelda, nba, splatoon, skyrim etc etc. it's just a preview trailer we don't know anything about all the games. People say that I get mad but sometimes  wonder if people like to be negative just because.

The WiiU and Ouya were for people too. It's a handheld but it's certainly not easily portable. And esport machine? No chance. I'm just discussing where Nintendo is going with this thing. You being hyped for it doesn't mean people can't question the usefulness of the device.

And that Mario Kart footage, was that Mario Kart 8? I can't tell.
And it looks like there's a new 3D Mario in the vein of Mario 64.

After looking at it again, I see that King Boo is in it (who wasn't in MK8) and double items, so...

If it's not a new game, then it at least has new elemements.

100% there wont be a successor to the 3DS.

This is it, the Nintendo Switch is both a replacement for the 3DS + Wii U.

I can see the appeal, I can see why some are excited, I'm middle of the road on the device, but sorry you a tad bit predictable with your negativity lately, you weren't going to like this device no matter what it was.

Nintendo fans really love it. Wii U owners and 3DS owners now only need to buy one console.

But someone deciding between a PS4 and a Switch has a pretty easy choice in my opinion. This console is not going to be cheaper than the PS4 and it won't be as powerful.

edit: it looks like they do.

There's a base pseudo-controller section that you can snap both of the controller ends into.

Yeah plus there looks like a tradition controller. It actually looks like Nintendo covered all their bases so far.
