That's pretty awesome, our local stores have none available that aren't already paid for completely with pre orders for the next month at least, really can't wait to try out a demo unit to see what it's like before investing myself.

Edit - Just noticed there on psn store, if you have the Season pass for the original Drive Club then you can get access to Drive Club VR for €20 instead of the full €40

"SPECIAL OFFER!
Anyone who bought the DRIVECLUB™ Season Pass on PS4™ can upgrade to DRIVECLUB™ VR from PlayStation®Store at a reduced price."

Not sure if that is a limited time offer but still pretty awesome for fans of DriveClub to be able to jump into the VR version at a discount.

It lists that price automatically when you have the season pass, I downloaded it yesterday. It's a completely standalone product, 19GB download with all the tracks of the base game plus new ones. Shows a bit how much they had to downgrade the tracks as the full version is 29GB. (Could be the DLC cars as well)

Anyway it's a full game, start from lvl 1, new clubs etc. You have 3 viepoints, chase, bumper and inside. Inside finally works in VR, you don't feel like sitting in tha backseat anymore looking out a tiny window. Looking into the corners never felt more natural, as well as checking the mirrors or even looking over your shoulder. The cars look really good on the inside. (Track detail is visibly downgraded)

Awesome to hear it looks great from in the drivers seat, I will really need to get my hands on a demo before I can buy it though, I've an issue with my right eye and need to see if it effects how the VR exp works for me, might be stuck to the TV version of Driveclub if that is an issue for me. (not that it's a bad way to play that game)

If I search for '*Insert game or product here* Review bad' I'm going to find negative results. How can you be so blatantly obvious?

If I search for lets say 'After Earth Review' negative results come up because it is legitimately bad I don't have to add words into the search.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=PSVR+Review

Oh look, positive reviews without manipulating the search.

Are you really trying to say that there aren't any negative reviews and/or impressions for PSVR? I didn't say that *every* review is putting a negative image on it.

*searches for puppets to put on his hands because it seems seriously needed to explain how to read text appropriately*

When did I say that? I'm saying the reception to it overall has been very positive.

I'm not saying you did, I'm saying the point you seemed to be trying to prove was wrong as googling 101 suggests no bias in the result. If I'm trying to find out if X causes Y. I don't google 'does x cause y' I google 'what causes y' and see if 'x' comes up.

No game/tech in existance doesn't have a negative revew.

you havent read the article, and it has more valied argument than some post on a forum

You mean the article that predicts 9 million VR devices in 2016, with sony have 67% share meaning 6 million units sold? Yes I do not want to read that article. I will applaud sony in due time if this device indeed takes off, since i am interested in it, but until that point, nothing remotely suggests it will reach 6 million in 2016, or that the sales Oculus or Vive will be that great either.

"...which may make the company the de facto virtual reality market leader by the end of the day"
Thats impressive. Whats more good news for Sony is that we already know it sales at a profit so the only reasonable choice they have is to increase production.

Sony Forecasting 'Hundreds of Thousands' of PlayStation VR Sales

Posted 11:15am Thu 13th Oct 2016 by Sammy Barker

Platform holder increasing production capacity

Sony's said that it expects to sell "hundreds of thousands" of PlayStation VR headsets at launch, which may make the company the de facto virtual reality market leader by the end of the day. Sony Europe chief Jim Ryan was speaking with CNBC, and explained that there's been "significant" interest in pre-orders. We're hearing that practically all of the release day stock is gone, though it's not yet clear how many units the manufacturer shipped.

With stocks already running low and hype at an all-time high, the big question is whether the Japanese giant will be able to keep up with demand. "We know that the replenishment cycle is a good one, production is going exactly as we anticipated," Ryan continued. "We have made decisions to further increase capacity at the back end of 2016 and into 2017, so there are going to be a lot of PlayStation VRs around the world."

However, Ryan did have a warning: "Whether that's enough to satisfy the demands of the market, we'll see." In other words: if you want one of these things, get yourself on a waiting list – and soon.

Interesting. RIGS and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood are getting decent reviews (RIGS more so) so if they can make games worth purchasing, maybe even at a smaller price, then maybe they can sell through a good amount of VR head sets. I still don't expect crazy good sales, the future of VR is still fairly shaky.

No it isnt. Except you expect anyone whos eyes came in touch with a VR HMD had their pupils deformed and their eyeballs will go up in flames when the sun is shining.

I'm not entirely sure what you meant on the second sentence, but I should have worded myself better. I meant more like the success of VR as a casual/mainstream gadget instead of a very niche thing is still uncertain. With technology getting better and cheaper every few years, VR could become very afforadable but may at that point, the hype train would have left the station. Maybe VR can survive and be profitable for companies as a niche gadget, i don't know, i'm not an analyst of any kind.

I'm still personally excited for VR, I just want games to put up or shut up. I'm hoping "Resident evil 7" will get good reception so that can be my starting game, along with Driveclub VR for my bro.

In what sense is that more valid than what is being said?

Maybe it is the date June 2016, which means that Oculus and Vive really need to pick up the slack of producing and selling more units. However I know you do not care about that, but hey, it is part of your source.
Maybe it is they actually expected 14 million not even a year before that for the same time frame as discussed, but hey we lower predictions by insane numbers all the time.
Maybe it is fact that no other analyst even predicts 1/2 of the number they are predicting.
Maybe it is sony themselves would not even  produce that many units to be sold by year end. Hey you can hold me on this one, since they will eventually release that information.
Or maybe just maybe the fact you picked a horrible source to prove your argument, when you have could have picked the many better ones analyst predictions to help support your argument.

Yes more valid indeed.

Again I do want the device to be sucessful, but nothing you have said has been valid in disproven superchuck statement intial statement.

I saw some reviews on Youtube and it looks like a very cool product. It is still 1100 dollars here in Brazil so I will probably have to wait around 6 months to get in the fun, which is the time I expect it will take to prices to drop.
But it was a very bold move, I am happy with Sony on this one, I like the way they think and deal with the consumer.
In other hand, I am super disapointed with Nintendo Modus Operandi, I have seen kids going sick with anxiety because of the NX embargo.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.
