I'm not entirely sure what you meant on the second sentence, but I should have worded myself better. I meant more like the success of VR as a casual/mainstream gadget instead of a very niche thing is still uncertain. With technology getting better and cheaper every few years, VR could become very afforadable but may at that point, the hype train would have left the station. Maybe VR can survive and be profitable for companies as a niche gadget, i don't know, i'm not an analyst of any kind.
I'm still personally excited for VR, I just want games to put up or shut up. I'm hoping "Resident evil 7" will get good reception so that can be my starting game, along with Driveclub VR for my bro.
