Compared to what?
It seems way inferior to the GC and Wii versions.
Yoshi's Wooly World, Captain Toad and 'now Paper Mario' Color Splash (so far) are/were all reviewed and recepted as good games. Are you so obsessed with scores and metacritic that you only view games around 9/10 as good games?
Amiibo festival was obviously a screw up, but the rest of those games don't fit your list. Even Starfox doesn't belong with that title, as it was still solid enough.
Nintendo has released games around this level of quality for years, from past to present.
I don't think average quality output has ever been this low in Nintendo's history. You should also take 3DS into consideration (Farce and Triforce Heroes). I'm also sceptical about Pikmin 3DS since it is being made by the Yoshi's New Island team and it kinda looks boring and ugly. This makes me worry about their approach with NX. I'm afraid it's gonna be another overpriced and underpowered gimmick to attract children. Real gamers will feel left out and go to the competition.

A combined critic score of 80 is pretty good. Compare it to whatever you want.
And you say this right now that Color Splash is getting good reviews? lol
Also, in the time they released those games they also released Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fire Emblem Fates, Kirby Planet Robobot, Pokken and Tokyo Mirage Sessions#FE which were received positively.
Btw Captain Toad is a fantastic little game and Yoshi's Woolly World is far from a low quality game.
Lol, Captain Toad and Yoshi are definitely not low-quality titles. In fact I'd say they were GOTY candidates imo. Specially Captain Toad. Brilliant level design.

They fit my list, not because I say they are all bad, I don't say that. I just say that they are low budget, low ambition titles.
They are not "Nintendo quality". Nintendo did not always release great games in the past, but now we are flooded by these little average games.

Yes, I can't believe long time Nintendo fans are happy with the output on the Wii U. Before an average Nintendo game was Staforx adventure, now it's Starfox Zero?
The 3DS is treated better though, this year we have great games like Fire Emblem Fates, Kirby robobot and soon Pokemon.
