Back in early 2013 I wrote that the PS4 would only sell 80% of the PS3 in Japan which comes to about 8+ million, I may have to bump it up to like 85%-90% depending on VR and the Pro.

Makes sense. Nintendo even had Wii U shortages earlier this year in japan.
