Maybe I'm just missing some sort of point, but why is this a bad thing?

There is a lot of shit on YouTube. Has anyone seen the comments on most vids? Or even how some sick ppl mislabel kid related content and then the poor hapless kids end up watching adult material.

If there is one thing I think YouTube needs is some moderation.

Hmm,

I wonder if you would agree with an analogy:

Citizens are allowed to shoot people on sight if they feel they are in danger or preventing a threat.

That's ok?

Alright then, now remove culpability for the person with the gun.

I'm trying to find the right words, but I think your analogy is going to far.

Once a few feminists/SJWs get to stage 3 it's all over.
Internet needs to have freedom of speech. No restrictions.

Like/Dislike ration on the youtube heroes video is brutal

So you rather corporations not find revenue sources, in order to continue existing or growing? If you want to have anarchy without defined rules, their are many sites that cater towards that. Youtube is not going to be one of those, because it wants to maximise profits. Now I agree level 3 is stupid, don't get me wrong.

'Heros' who repeatedly abuse their power will presumably quickly lose their power so the content of the youtube guidelines, which instructing them what to flag, seem to be the biggest issue.

For a lot of youtubers, this is their whole livelihoods. I don't know if people here are actually on youtube, but there is a ton of drama, and it's pretty common to have one tuber have their followers dislike competitor's videos. It happens all the time.

But sure, no gun. Handcuffs then. eviction notices then.

YouTube seems like wants people to move to another platforms.
Sooner or later they will have actual competition and they won't ever reach this level dominance they had up until now, it'll never go back, and another site, from another people/group may take all the money YouTube was generating for themselves.

This is what i hope is that another site does pop up. Id move over right now if another site had payments like google.

Many sites have tried, almost all have either created small niche or fallen, like Blip.

Currently the main competitor would be Twitch (Live Streaming) and Vine (6 Second Videos).

Twitch is owned by Amazon, and Vine is owned by Twitter which might soon be owned by Google.

So pretty much google has a monopoly.. IM NEVER GOING TO ESCAPE!!!. someone help .

Near monopoly like status yes, namely when it comes to ad revenue generation and content creation. Two things that work hand in hand.

Drama is what makes someone relevant nowadays, just look at the recent iDubbz and Leafy fiasco. The former has gained around 200k subs since the first video.
