Oh god I hope not, it looks terrible. I refuse to believe that Nintendo have come away with too few lessons to launch something like that in the modern market.

It's actually a fairly "Nintendo-ey" idea. Detachable controller wings will let them make all types of different controls, they even come packaged with different games ... which is another very "Nintendo-ey" concept.

IIRC it's supposed to be a mockup for a German magazine, so yes it is 'fake'-well according to some posters on Neogaf anyway.
