Yeah, YOUR PC could probably handle 360 emulation. But I think the average user would be annoyed they need a powerful machine to play old games with relatively bad graphics for PC.

Frankly, I don't think a lot of publishers would even support having their 360 games on PC. Personally I'm not opposed to the idea, I just don't think it would out well.

You know, it's funny that we live in a world where people would get pissed off when a company ADDS a feature to their service.  But I guess you're probably right.

Agreed, even I see the irony of arguing not to bringing a feature to PC. In a nutshell, the PC audience might just be too nit picky to attempt that. Avid PC gamers don't like 30 fps caps for example.

MS could make more people happy by porting their best titles to PC which could a be a vastly superior way to experience those games.

Capcom has ported a bunch of games in a short period of time. MS could do it as well if they desired.

I'm not sure I see it that way.  Anyone who's messed around with emulators in the past knows full well that you don't really alter things like the frame rate in emulated games.  Console games were programmed to be a certain way, and the PC can only copy that, with shinier graphics.  I think if Microsoft advertised it as a 100% direct copy of the X360 experience, a lot of people would be on board.

Or I could be very wrong.

Sadly the majority of that list is XBLA titles.

Not necessarily a bad thing, XBLA had some of the most notable 360 games. A lot of junk has been released on disc.

There are also a lot of games that may not come to X1 BC because of remasters or cross gen. I can think of like 30 right now.

I agree. There are a ton of notable XBLA titles, but there is also allot of shovelware.
The good part is... It just magically arrives on my Xbox One "Waiting to be installed" to add to my 1 Terabyte+ of waiting downloads.

It's likely easier for Microsoft to get permission for XBLA titles rather than full AAA releases, I would like to see backwards compatability be more aggressively rolled out though, the Xbox 360 was backwards compatible with roughly half of the original Xbox's game library before that scheme stopped, which was a real shame.

Yeah, a lot of junk on either XBLA or retail. BUT, they are doing a pretty great job getting good stuff from both XBLA and retail. There are many games on the service I'd recommend already.

I believe MS goes to the publishers and basically asks what games they would like on X1 BC. Big publishers are reluctant to put their major titles on the service, espeically if they plan on doing a remaster. Therefore we're seeing a lot of XBLA titles. Also, MS probably limits the numbers of titles a publisher can list in a given period of time. The goal is to also sell copies of old games so they don't want to flood the market quickly. Safe to assume games will keep coming to X1 BC for years.

Anything for sale on the 360 marketplace has potential to come to X1 BC (excluding stuff like annual sports games). That should be over 1000 games. So they are just getting started at 250 games currently on the service.

I am 90% satisfied. The only games I want is the older COD games like COD3, WAW,ect and few other games like GTA4, MGS HD collection and splinter cell conviction.

Looks like Microsoft read my post and they are giving me COD 3. Yay me woot woot.

I managed to clear enough games off of my shelf to fit my entire Xbox One and PS4 library--all thanks to games I got for free digitally via BC and games I got improved versions of. It's great!

Still hoping Lost Odyssey gets added eventually.

Wow, and  now WAW is confirmed for xbox one now too. I am now 95% satisfy.

Lost odyssey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Lost Odyssey is such a awesome addition. Xbox BC gets better all the time!
