Where did I say it's a new claim? I said it's interesting as all the recent rumours and claims from the likes of Eurogamer and all are of a hybrid system, this one goes against all of that.

If they are going by the Japanese myths on mermaids they are human eating monsters that grant long life if you kill and eat one. The "western" mermaids were a product of Walt Disney making them "likable", much like the real Brother's Grim stories are not things you want to tell you youngh childern, unless you want them to have nightmares.

As for the the above it isn't impossible to have a VR headset, just not one like the PSVR, think more along the lines of Samsungs VR headset that use a mobile phone as a base.

Not a hybrid? Sounds to me like this "3ds swap" basically just has remoteplay functions.

I don't have any idea what to think any more, just waiting on Nintendo. Also did they learn nothing about how to name their products so they don't sound like iterations of the previous product?
