Looks fine. A nice take on the zombie trend. People just get so pissy about spin offs.

Not surprised. Konami basically took a franchise with a cult following and added elements as if it was a marketing tick-box exercise. I can see how the conversation went in my head:

Manager: "What's in at the moment?"

Marketing guy: "Errr... well CoD added zombies a few years ago and they're doing well..."

Manager: "Brilliant, use assets from Metal Gear Solid 5, add zombies and we'll slap the Metal Gear name on for good measure! Instant profit!"

Dev: "Don't think the fans are gonna appreciate this one..."

Manager: "Shut up! Instant profit!"

I don't necessarily have a problem with the basic idea of the game, I just think attaching the MGS name to it is there just to ride on the series popularity. If it was a new IP I doubt people would have that much problems with it.

Who cares if its like a completly differnt game genre that the franchise is known for... its not like its fans will care.

It has the same fate as Federation Force. Spinoff of a great franchise, good game, can't live up to unreal expectations.

Booooooooooooooooo the hell out of this game.
