This guy's not going to be well liked.

First, he's trying to he's trying blame Sega's decline on the notion that in 2006, they went into creative decline because they could sell bad games on the Wii. The reality: Sega has been known as a company in financial and creative decline decline from 1996.

Second, he's shitting all over his own development staff. Including the team that did Sonic Colours, and implying that Sonic Heroes and Sonic 06 were better games.

Panzer Dragoon Saga, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Super Monkey Ball, Yakuza, Total War, Valkyria Chronicles, among plenty others...

Not a sign of creative decline. Also, he's generalising. That doesn't mean he's saying everything they released on the Wii was garbage.

Seriously, your comments at times... -____-

The majority of those games were not developed by Sega, only published.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Nintendo is actually trying to recreate this situation. NX will probably be another underpowered overpriced gimmick that stimulates third party to make bad shovelware to attract children. They already confirmed they want to ''appeal to all audiences'' which basically means everyone except the real gamer in the family. I won't fall for this again.

What the fuck are you talking about. With the only exception of Total War (by The Creative Assembly before they became a subsidiary of Sega), they were all developed in-house or by subsidiaries of Sega.

Nintendo made a lot of money selling games like Wii Fit and a pretty generic Mario Kart on the Wii... A LOT of money and plenty other companies saw this and wanted to make money off of the trend, Sega included.

Thankfully, those days are over.

Reported Jürgen for flaming Nintendo fans.

Wait let's get one thing straight, Sega's software quality declined after the Dreamcast!
The Wii wasn't the only place where they put out low quality games, there are lots of AAA games during the 7th generation published by Sega that were mediocre.

SEGA, I remember when gamers cared about them. It was a while ago, to say the least. SEGA, Atari and some others have made themselves obscure. I somewhat like that he said they need to focus on quality, I somewhat dislike that I can't make myself believe that they'll succeed in doing so.

People bash Sega these days but they put out a lot of good titles last gen.

Even some of their Wii stuff was solid.
