Which is more Important?

Graphics 28 14.14%

Story 170 85.86%

For the most part, I would rather have a better story but it really depends

Depends on the game but mostly story!

It really depends on the game. For like an RPG story would be the most important to me (But i still would like good graphics).
And for something like a Racing game graphics would be the most important.

Yeah racing is better off without any story, although I enjoyed the crazy story in Driver San Francisco more than I thought I would. The crew's story was awful however, couldn't wait to skip through the cut scenes, and NFS...

Story, but depending in how you tell that story you might need good graphics anyway.

There's a minimum level graphics need to satisfy, but beyond that story is much morer important. Well, depends on the genre and game really, but assuming we're talking about a game where story can matter, story is more important.

Played WoW for 11 years. Cant say i play it for its amazing visuals.

Story. Just thinking through the more memorable moments in gaming.... Nearly all of them were during a moment in a story. A plot twist, an epic victory, crushing defeat, death of a beloved character and so on. We'll be impressed more with graphics as they continue to improve. The story memories last longer, IMO.

Story, modern games almost always have trite, shitty writing. It's by far the biggest weakness of the modern gaming industry, in my opinion.

What's graphics got to do with story? Sometime good graphics helps make stories more believable.
Good graphics or gameplay makes more sense because you might have to sacrifice the quality of one to improve the other.
