It really does!
Because right now the Eurogamer and Emily Rogers bit is just rumors of what they heard. Which could partly because true, but I don't understand why looking from their side they just completely ruled out any possibility of Nintendo working with AMD.
AMD can make a ARM based apu, if thats what nitnendo wants.
I hope this is true, the more in common it has (gpu) with the other 2 the higher the chances of it getting ports, or 3rd party.
Its either that or Samsung/Apple/Google/Sega? are makeing a games console.

It not about Emily and Eurogamer, much more sources confirmed Tegra for NX, WSJ and MWC for instance, also few others "insaders" from Neogaf, while on other hand we dont have not one single info saying that NX is using AMD (SM64 just speculate he dont have sources long time now).

Actualy it seems that Nvidia is also desperate for win on console gaming market.

He lost that source that told him Nintendo's 2016 release schedule right after the leaked that in internet, all SMD64 wrote after that is just his speculation.

Talking about speculation.
So AMD confirms 1 unannounced gaming semi-custom design win and that must be NX and that EG article proves wrong. Lol
Also about SMD64, he relly had strong source about 2016 release schedule, but right after that he lost that source and had any leak after that, all he wrote after that is just his speculation, espacily NX things.
What's the chances of one being for Apple? The Macbook Air range in particular may need a custom chip to reach the 15watt performance of its predecessors and Apple are with AMD/polaris for its future GPUs

as the OG PS4 and the OG Xbox One share the same CPU and GPU architecture I'm ~99% certain the APU in the OG X1 can do HDR aswell, but either it can't output it (HDMI chip/some other chip not compliant) or MS simply doesn't unlock it

Why would Apple use a semi custom chip before their own chips or just a regular desktop APU or CPU and GPU combination?

Lots of people came out of the woodwork after the Eurogamer article about the NX rumor corroborating the same info. It's not even that they reported on this rumor but that anyone that doesn't believe Nintendo is only working Nvidia is somehow crazy and a deranged fan hoping for more!
These people won't simply admit that maybe they only got things partly right and there's more to this story than we know... People just gotta admit when they're wrong and move on!
