You'll go into your Nintendo eShop on NX and see "NX Games", "Apps/Games", "Virtual Console/HH" categories. I think it'll just be that simple. Click on the Apps section and you can download things like Angry Birds or Final Fantasy VII or Real Racing 3 and play. 

Blackberry has a phone that uses their Blackberry OS, but can load games from Amazon's Android store (so Android apps basically work on it). I guess Nintenod could do something like that, only cut out Amazon obviously. 

There are some pretty decent mobile games too ... I wouldn't mind playing some of those Square-Enix iOS/Android games with physical controls.

You sure those games would be compatible with the phisical controls? That would be cool actually.

Could you name sum such games u are interested in? Do you keep track of mobile games? Do you play them??

I think a lot of Android games are compatible with third party physical controls already, but for NX a developer could easily just add in NX specific controls.

Nintendo can always release 2 versions of NX: one with Android in mind and another for Apple store.

If Nintendo releases just one version it's like cutting your potential market in half. And if the point of it is attracting kids who have app store they don't want a console with Android - and vice-versa.
Unless, there was a way that you could buy a NX and download the OS that you desired. That way everyone could be happy.

The dual OS is nothing new to tablet makers like Teclast, so...

It won't be "real" Android or iOS ... it'll still be a Nintendo custom OS, they just want the apps. 

The thing is there's probably no chance in hell Apple would allow Nintendo to use iOS for free, whereas Android can be forked. Amazon and Blackberry already do this. 

They both have the same apps that matter anyway, so it's not a big deal. If there is a iOS only app it would be able to be ported to the NX very easily most likely. 

Or maybe they can even have right in the dev kit a way for Android/iOS devs to basically compile their Android/iOS app right into NX ecosystem with little/no fuss/effort.

Yes and finally. It's good that they are finally seeing the light, even though it took them years. And anyone who feels "betrayed" i would say get over it. No one is making you play those phone games.

I think they're realizing (or acknowledging) only part of the problem.

While kids these days are indeed more familiar with Minecraft than Mario and smartphones and tablets then Nintendo's handhelds, once they hit certain age they want other type of experiences (I already let my 8 and 10 year old sons play Dark Souls, with gore off, of course)...and those experiences are not on their consoles, but on PC, PS and XBox.

So while it's good to try to bring back those kids, there needs to be something to keep them in their eco system once they grow up a bit.
